Tom is a qualified accountant with almost 30 years’ experience in general practice and financial control. Tom graduated from University of Limerick with a Business Studies degree in 1991. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant since 2002. Tom has worked with some of the companies leading food companies to include Kerry Group & Dawn Meats. Tom offers help & advice to all our clients to include general business compliance & advisory, succession & tax planning. As native of Limerick, following their hurlers is a pleasant pastime these times. Also takes a keen interest in the sporting pursuits of his children.

Amanda is a qualified accountant and joined Garvanbay Accounting in 2017 as practice manager. She is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a degree in Accountancy from Waterford Institute of Technology. Amanda’s main functions are dealing with small/medium sized businesses, specialising in business advisory and tax planning in all areas.

Orla joined Garvanbay Accounting in 2022 as an Apprentice Accounting Technician.  Orla excels in all areas of bookkeeping and carries out many duties including VAT and payroll for various clients.

John is a qualified accountant with over 25 years experience in general practice and financial services. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountant and holds a degree in laws from the University of Limerick. John’s areas of expertise include compliance and advisory, taxation and company secretarial. John enjoys most sports together with reading, swimming and enjoying time with his kids.

Cathy has over 25 years’ experience both in practice and industry. Cathy works closely with clients to understand their needs and ensure exceptional service delivery in the provision of monthly accounting and operational accountancy service.
Her main functions are dealing with small to medium size businesses on a daily basis, together with accounts preparation, income tax and corporation tax compliance, company secretarial, VAT and payroll compliance.
